Nvidia’s Tegra 4

The next generation of mobile processors won’t be available for a few months yet, but that hasn’t stopped the first jaw-dropping benchmarks being made readily available for the most anticipated of them all: Nvidia’s Tegra 4. Past iterations of the Tegra chip have been included in some of the best tablets on the market, mainly the Asus Transformer Pad Infinity and the Sony Xperia Tablet S, both of which offered great usability and streamlined performance. With Tegra 4, Nvidia is looking to go one step further, by offering a near faultless user experience for the next wave of high-end Android devices. Nvidia’s first release of the Tegra 4 chip might be in its very own portable gaming console, Project Shield, a high-end device looking to port AAA games to the small screen with the aim of being the best portable games console on the market.
